EPDItaly regulation in public consultation
EPDItaly is pleased to inform you that the public consultation phase has begun for EPDItaly Regulation v. 7, which is the updated document to be used for the development, verification and publication of Environmental Product Declarations.
The Regulations incorporate several updates and changes. The main new features are as follows:
- the adaptation in accordance with ISO 14020 and EN 15941;
- Annex 7: introduces the possibility of accepting, with regard to recycled material content, product certification in lieu of verification when already available;
- Annex 8: regulates the procedures to be followed by Verification/Validation Bodies, recognized by EPDItaly, for the verification/validation of EPDs, in case the EPD Owner is a retailer or distributor.
