What are the main reasons that pushed you towards the voluntary EPD certification?

The main motivation that led us to obtain the EPD is related to the business opportunities given by the new building legislation.

Which product of your company has obtained the EPD? What are its main features?

All those composed of second-life materials (aluminum, pvc and steel)

What are the main advantages obtained from the publication of the Environmental Product Declaration? What are the repercussions on the final consumer?

The advantage obtained is certainly linked to the recent facilities on Superbonus and Ecobonus with consequent positive repercussions on the orders

Do you think that EPDItaly can contribute to spreading the culture of product sustainability?

Certainly, the EPD contributes to improving the sustainability of products

How important, in your opinion, is the presence of sustainable Italian products within a Program Operator that makes the international network one of its strengths?

Italian products already stand out in the international scenario for design and quality. Accompanied by environmental product certifications, they acquire even more value.

At this moment, how important do you think having a sustainable approach and what does it mean?

Renewable sources allow us to face energy price increases without particular problems and, as already anticipated, obtain advantages and benefits also towards our commercial partners and final consumers. At the moment we can certainly say that the crisis will not be totally borne by our customers. Obviously, we hope that in a short time the Government will hear the cry of pain that arises from many sides but as far as we are concerned, we are confident and trust in its choices. Fortunately, environmental sustainability and energy efficiency have always been of primary importance for our company. Our photovoltaic system and the trigeneration system are almost able to meet our total needs. Through these two renewable sources that we have already activated for some time to support our company, we are able to obtain about 600 Kilowatts which allow us to cope with the energy crisis without particular problems. Obviously we feel the problem during night work, during which we are forced to withdraw energy from the national electricity grid.
