New PCR in public consultation

EPDItaly is pleased to inform you that the process for the development of the PCR proposed by Federbeton has come to an end, the new PCRs are available in the EPDItaly system:

• PCR Part B CONCRETE: EPDItaly028 (to be used with EN 15804 + A2 – PCR ICMQ 001 rev. 3)
• PCR Part B CEMENT, BINDERS AND PRE-MIXTURES: EPDItaly029 (to be used with EN 15804 + A2 – PCR ICMQ 001 rev. 3)

The PCRs will be adopted for the future publication of the EPDs in the EPDItaly system that refer to the aforementioned product / service category.

NOTE: Until 31/10/2022, expiration date of “PCR Part B EPDItaly002” and “PCR Part B EPDItaly003”, on the EPDItaly system there will be two sub-PCRs for the same product category. However, these PCRs, as reported below, are developed in compliance with different Core-PCRs, which respectively implement different versions of the same legislation:

– PCR Part B EPDItaly002 for Cement (PCR ICMQ 001 rev. 2.1 – to be used with EN 15804 + A1)
– PCR Part B EPDItaly029 for Cement, Binders and Pre-Mixtures (PCR ICMQ 001 rev. 3 – to be used with EN 15804 + A2)

– PCR Part B EPDItaly003 for cement and concrete elements (PCR ICMQ 001 rev. 2.1 – to be used with EN 15804 + A1)
– PCR Part B EPDItaly028 Ready-mix concrete (PCR ICMQ 001 rev. 3 – to be used with EN 15804 + A2)

For concrete products, the only Sub-PCR available is “PCR Part B EPDItaly003”.
